The departure

All his life he stayed away from girls because of shyness and lack of confidence but this time he stood and went to the girl sitting alone at the last row. She was reading a book. His heart was pumping like a chicken whose head is just chopped off. With all strength he could gathered
Boy: If you don't mind can I talk to you for a minute
Girl: (after a pause) ok
Boy: You are beautiful. And I have never seen a girl like you.
The boy turned back and came to his seat. The girl looked him for a second and started reading again.

There were so many things going through his mind. Suddenly he approached her again and requested "can I buy you a cup of coffee". She closed the book and headed for the coffee shop. The boy followed.

Girl: (stirring the coffee) How many times you have said this before.
Boy: (with fumbling voice) never in my life. I had 3 instances where I felt something, never spoke to them and had sleepless nights. I do not know what force lead me to talk to you.

The girl was listening to him attentively.
There were plenty of things he wanted to share with her.

An announcement came "Passengers for flight A380 are requested to proceed to gate number 3"

He stood there and looked at the half empty cup. He always acted practical, gave priority to responsibilities, never complained. He was considered ideal son in his family. People praised him for his determination and dedication.

Another announcement came "This is the last call for passengers traveling to Hyderabad".
He wiped the single drop of water from his eye that appeared from nowhere and proceeded to gate number 5.

Defining fun

Disclaimer: I do not intend to change anyone's thinking on what is fun.

You think that fun is hanging out with friends,
going out on every weekend,
having some drinks,
discussing girls/movies/cricket/politics,
following EPL,
knowing as many Hollywood actors/models as possible,
watching some out of the world videos,
always trying to be different,
keeping an eye on different news and trying to spread that asap,
writing scraps,
chatting senselessly,
creating account on each social web site as soon as they arrive,
adding anyone in your friends list to just show that how many you have,
sharing moments of your beautiful school teachers/your many crushes,
telling how shy you were,
sharing only those of your childhood activities that you think your friends might not have done,
always looking for opportunities to pull someone's leg,
sleeping in classes,
writing crap(killing trees) in HSSM courses and getting good marks,
going out with friends who are more stylish or talkative but during exams only studying with a limited set of friends,
when asked giving fixed answer "I have not even started" even though you have finished all topics,
not helping some of your friends in study becoz they take a little extra time to grasp the subject/concept,
feeling happy from inside but not showing on face when friends getting lower marks
than you,
living in a belief that your parents do not know about your bad habits,
criticizing fab 4/Gandhi/Himesh reshamiya/Indian govt,
doing night outs for absolutely nothing,
banging head on rock music,
sitting in room and writing about terrorism/floods/bandh/share market,
watching any serial in any language other than Indian languages,
always speaking "suno sabki, karo apne mann ki" even though you are badly influenced by others,
etc.

Now I will define fun as either NOT doing any of the above or doing exactly opposite.
And the reason is anyone can do or rather everybody does above things. You do not need to have control on yourself.
Fun is when you do other than the usual stuff.

PS: This is a fun post.
